Downtown

Downtown is the oldest part of the city, which also is home of some of the finest treasures that our country has. This area is full of streets that invite us to walk through the past and remember Mexico City´s time of splendour, a time when horse-drawn carriages carried viceroys and high officials inside.

In this area we can find beautiful buildings and historical sites, such as the Cathedral and National Palace that is the government´s headquarters. Both of these buildings stand in front of the Zocalo, known as the Constitution Square, the second largest in the world (After the Red square in Moscow)

After visiting many of the historical sites that this area offers, we can take a walk in Madero Street, which is known due to its stores, churches and of course its vivid environment. At the end of the street we can finish this ride in the marvellous Palacio de Bellas Artes that represents the most important cultural centre in Mexico.

Xochimilco

Located in one of the 16 areas of Mexico City, Xochimilco is known as the Mexican Venice since you can take a ride in one of its full-of-colour "trajineras" (boats) and lively atmosphere. Through its canals you can know the famous "chinampas" used since pre-Hispanic times to grow different flowers and fruits. Also in this place you can taste the real flavours of Mexico while listening to Mexican music.

This World Heritage Site is a real place that offers you to know Mexico City as a local and enrich your trip.

Coyoacan, San Angel and Frida Kahlo

This area is one of the most common places to visit within the city. It is a very famous, intellectual and bohemian neighbourhood of the Mexican capital city. Many public people from Mexico and abroad (artists and politicians) have had their residencies here.

It is very common for local people to visit this area to chill out and grab some coffee or a hot chocolate cup. Due to its several food options, people normally have dinner or lunch in one of the restaurants in front of the traditional Coyotes Fountain or in the market where you can find typical Mexican food.

Xochimilco and Coyoacan with Frida Kahlo 

Combine two of the most beautiful and traditional places in the south of the city. Join our Coyoacan and Xochimilco tour for a great low price and see these areas through the eyes of a local person. Spend the morning experiencing the excitement of a ride in one boat through the canals of Xochimilco and its iconic sights including the floating market, the mariachis boats, the colourful trajineras (boats) and much, much more.

After lunch head out of Xochimilco, and stroll around one of the most iconic neighbourhoods of the city, Coyoacan. In this area you can visit many important historical sites such as; Church of San Juan Bautista, Casa de Cultura "Jesus Reyes Heroles" (Art and Culture House "Jesus Reyes Heroles") where you can take a picture in the Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo sculpture, Centenario Square, Conchita Square, Mercado el 100 (Organic market) and one of the most representative icons of the Mexican culture; Frida Kahlo Museum. And once the night falls you can enjoy a hot cup of chocolate with a just-made churro at the main square.

Lucha Libre and Dinner

One of the most popular shows in Mexico is definitely "Lucha Libre" (Mexican Wrestling). A show where wrestlers in extravagant masks and costumes fight in 3 rounds for victory. The show normally lasts 3 hours and takes place only on Fridays and Sundays at Arena México. When the show ends, we can end the night eating real Mexican food in one of the most typical and famous restaurants in the city, called, La Casa de Toño; which is located in the Roma neighborhood. This lively area is full of restaurants and bars with lots of people of all ages.

Pyramids of Teotihuacan and Guadalupe Shrine

This must see tour is one of the most requested trips in Mexico City. The first stop is in the Tlatelolco neighborhood, where we will visit The square of the 3 cultures, which represents 3 different stages of Mexican history. You will be able to observe an archeological site, a church which was built in the period of the Spanish conquest and modern buildings.

Continue on the Guadalupe Shrine, located in the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the spot where it is said to have appeared to an indigenous Mexican. Here you will be able to see the most important religious site in Mexico as you tour the impressive atrium and interior of the new basilica.

After lunch we will explore the very famous archeological site of Teotihuacan including the Temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the Avenue of the dead, and of course The pyramids of the Sun and the Moon.
